Squadrons Grounded

crash of a . F89 Scorpion jet
which killed one man and criti
cally injured the pilot.
The accident was one of a se
ries at the airport which has

Lt. Joe E. Ward, 23, Minneapo
lis. The pilot, Lt. Robert P.
Couch, 26, St. Paul, was taken,
to the Veterans' hospital here in
critical condition.

trailer-truck to a halt Thursday
night when he saw a pretty girl
entirely in the nude standing at
' the edge of the road.
He drove the 23-year-old girl
to the police station, where she
explained that her boy friend
became angry on a date, forced
her to undress and then told her
to walk home.
