wife. Lydia. preceded him in
death in Medford in 1947.
The couple had come to Med
ford from Apache. Okla.. more
than 35 years ago. and until his
retirement Mr. Showers was en
gaged in the sheet metal busi
ness. He was a member of the
Methodist church.
