Notice is hereby given that the
City of Phoenix will receive sealed
bids up to 7:30 P.M. Monday. July
30th. 1856. at the City Hall. Phoenix.
Oregon, for furnishing all materials
and construction of a sanitary trunk
and lateral sewer system, complete
in operating condition. Proposals will
be publicly opened and read aloud.
Proposals shall be in accordance
with the Plans. Specifications and
Contract documents now on file with
the Consulting Engineers A. D. Har
vey and S. C. Watkins, Room 12 Goldy
Building. Medford. Oregon, or at the
City Recorder's office. Phoenix. Ore
gon. Copies of plans and specifica
tions may be obtained from the en
gineers upon furnishing a deposit of
$25.00 for each set. bucn deposits wui
be returned to contractors actually
submitting bids upon the return of
the plans and specifications to the
engineers in good order within five
5i days after filing of bids. A charge
of $10.00 to cover cost of reproduction
will be made in the event planholder

to him shall be submitted with each
proposal. Performance bond in amount
of 100 of the contract price will be
required.
The City of Phoenix reserves the
right, to reject any and all proposals
and to accept such proposal as may be
deemed in the best interest of the
City. No bidder may withdraw his
bid after the hour set for the opening
thereof unless the award of contract
is delayed for a period of thirty (30)
days thereafter.

beginning of the auction for the in

sale. If an oral bid is declared to be
high at the closing of the auction,
