WHEREAS the City of Medford has
heretofore ciused a water main to be
laid in Murphy Road adjacent to cer
tain real property in the City of Med
ford fronting on Murphy Road and the
Council being of the opinion that said
water main may be used by the prop
erty fronting on that portion of said
main as laid in Murphy Road from
Harnett Road to a point 478 feet
North. nd
WHEREAS said water main has not.
as yet, been paid for and it appearing
to the Council that the use of said
water main as a lateral water main
by said property last above mentioned
will not materially interfere with the
use thereof for the purpose for which
it was originally laid, now therefore.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUN

the Council that that part of the
aforementioned water main laid in
Murphy Road adjacent to certain real
property in the City of Medford front

amount of such special benefit and
the proportionate cost of such a lateral
water main to such property as afore
said and Intends to assess said amount
against such adjacent property on
account thereof.

the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M., at the
Council Chamber in the City Hall on
the 17th day of July. 1956. at which
time and place all protests of said
assessment, as hereinbefore provided
