Squadron 14 to Take
One-Eyed Eagle Totem
Explorer Scout Squadron 14 i
of Medford will present a dem-
onstration for Boy Scout Troop
41 at 7:30 p.m. today to obtain j
the Totem of the One-eyed
Eagle of the Crater Lake Area '
council.
Troop 41 obtained the Totem
from a Dunsmuir, Calif., troop
early last month after the Dne-
eyed Eagle had been out of cir
culation for about two years.
Various troops in the council
compete for the trophy, which
was established in 1939.
Squadron 14 indicated ' pre
viously that it intended to take
possession of the Totem once
Troop 41 obtained it ' from
Dunsmuir. The demonstration
tonight will be held in the Grif
fin Creek school gymnasium.
