We, your local progressive independent food
retail operators, have joined together to form
our own buying and merchandising organiza
tion, United Grocers, Inc., with offices and
warehouse in Ashland, Oregon
By forming our own local organization, we
join more than 350 other independent food
retailers throughout the state of Oregon and
more than 7,700 food retailers on the Pacific
Coast. Our association with this group will
make it possible for us, your independent gro
cers, to buy the items we sell to you, our cus
tomers, at as low a price as any store or group
of stores in the area.
By owning our own warehouse and owning
and managing our individual stores, we can
offer to you, the consuming public, nationally
known brands of food at prices as low as any
store or group of stores in this area.
