club Dairy Day for 4-H and FFA
club members will be held at
Gold Hill Saturday, May 19, ac
cording to Glenn Klein, county
4-H agent.
The show is held each spring
to provide the livestock club
members an opportunity to prac
tice showmanship and compete
in judging contests with diary
animals.
Rufus Cate, county extension
agent at Newport, formerly 4-H
club agent m Jackson county,
will be the official judge.
Activites will start at 10 a.m.
with the livestock judging con
test and the showmanship con
test at 1 p.m. The show will be
held between the main street
and the railroad track in the cen
ter of Gold Hill.
Lunch will be available on the
grounds and all dairy club mem
bers and other club members in
terested are urged to attend.
