According to Dr. A. H. Jacobs
of Stanford Uuiversity, from 8
to 10 per cent of infants, soon
after birth,

red. The sur
face of the le
sion then rises

tense and shiny. Usually, in the
first three to six months of the
infant's life such a strawberry
mark, made ur of tiny blood
vessels, develops rapidly, and
then the process slows down and
parts of the lesion begin to dis-
appear. The color fades. Then
spots of blue discoloration may
appear in the patch. These en
large and run together during
the second year of life. Later
they fade, leaving islands of nor-
rmal-appearing skin. By the time
a child is from 4 to 5 years of
age, most of the dull red rem

a "cabinet" to coordinate eco
nomic and political planning by
the 15 member nations of
NATO.

the cabinet would study the
problems and report back to
the full council action. But some
Allies were reported disturbed

In Cairo, Col. Radi Innab,
chief of the Arab Legion, and
Egyptian leaders announced they
had set up a unified military
command against Israel. The
Egytian press hailed the act as
the culmination of efforts to
draw Jordan into the alliance
against the Baghdad Pact.
