Pope Declares Faith
Only Hope for Unity
Vatican City U.PJ Pope
Pius XII said Sunday night in a
radio message that faith in
Christ was the only hope for
unity in a world "almost tragi
cally" in need of it.
The message, marking Italy's
15th Eucharistic congress in
Lecce, asked Italian Catholics
to appeal, pray and act for "in
finite charity" among peoples.
