PEEK-A-BOO Stuart Mercereau is a little startled by this
young Japanese lady who appears to be wearing a portable
shower curtain, rhe "young lady" is actually a mannequin
at the Japan Trade Center in San Francisco and the costume
is a 12th Century silk "veil" used to escape public gaze
as well as ward off dust and sun (and smog?). It is part of
a fashion show at the center featuring costumes for the
past 1000 years.
