, ' Mrs. Robert James Reverman is the former Margo Elizabeth
Lageson, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Burt L. Lageson, 34 Glen Oak
court, Medford. The Reverman-Lageson wedding took place Sat
urday, February 4 of Sacred Heart Catholic church at 11 o'clock
. in the . morning and was followed by a breakfast at Rogue
Valley Country club for about 100 guests. The bride wore a
gown of traditional white satin with long sleeves, close-fitting
bodice and full skirt. .

Weddings, concerts, valentine and leap year parties have filled
the social calendar in February.
Among recent weddings were those of Miss Alicia Robinson
to Theron G. Karrick Jr., and Miss Margo Elizabeth Lageson to
Robert James Reverman of . Portland. The Karrick-Robinson cere
mony was held at St. Mark's Episcopal church, and the Reverman
, Lageson rites at Sacred Heart Catholic church.
Another large social event was the reception given at the home
of Dr. and Mrs. Charles W. Lemery in honor of Miss Paulena Carter,
California pianist who was guest soloist for the recent concert of
the Philharmonic Society of Southern Oregon. - ; '
Since 1956 is a "Leap Year' members of Medford Lady Elks
gave a leap year dance last night in the Elks party lounge.

; Mrs. Theron G. Karrick Jr. was Alicia Robinson before her
wedding February 4 at St. Mark's Episcopal church.: She is the
eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon J. Robinson, 191 7 East
Main street. The Karrick-Robinson wedding, an afternoon event,
was followed by a reception in St. Mark's Parish house for about
200 guests. The bride's gown was of.Alencon lace fashioned
with a ballerina-type skirt and, worn with a long-sleeved bolero.-
. The Reverman-Lageson wedding was followed by a wedding reception and breakfast at Rogue Valley
; Country club, and the newlyweds are shown here during the party. Pictured with the bride and bridegroom
is. the Rev. Nicholas Deis, pastorof Sacred Heart Catholic church, who-celebrated the nuptial mass for the
young couple. Mr. Reverman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Reverman, Portland, and the newlyweds are
living in that city. The bride attended the University of Washington before her wedding, and Mr. Reverman
was graduated from the University of Oregon.
Mr. and Mrs. Theron G. Karrick Jr. are shown here with the Rev. George R. V. Bolster, rector of St.
Mark's church, who was .the officiating minister for the double-ring service. The two young people are
examining the marriage service book which the rector presents to each couple married in. his church. The
;bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Theron G. Karrick, 1016 Murray avenue. The young people are making
their home here on Laurel street after a honeymoon trip north. Both are graduates of Medford High school.

Among the guests at the' reception which honored Miss Paulena
Carter after her recent concert here were (left to right) Bruno Pellegrini,
assistant conductor of the .Philharmonic Society of Southern Oregon
orchestra; Mrs. Dorothy Davis Miss Audrey Brist, concertmistress of
the orchestra, and Tod Tibbutt.. Mrs. Davis and Mr. Tibbutt are also
violinists with the orchestra, and the latter is business manager. The
third and final concert of the season for the orchestra has been set
for Sunday, April 15. ;"Ev

Miss Paulena Carter (Mrs. Jack Wormser), young -concert
pianist from Hollywood, was honored at a
reception -following her Tecent concert here with the
Philharmonic Society of . Southern .Oregon. Pictured
with Miss Carter are Conductor Richard D. Werner
and Mrs. J. C. Collins, one of the hostesses fdr the
reception.
Last night Medford Lady Elks gave a Leap Year dance an event
held every four years by that group'.. Providing both.decoration and
entertainment were the large "tin types" designed by Mrs. L. Gt Miles '
and used as background for polaroid pictures made of couples during
the evening. Pictured here with one of the tin types while the com
mittee was at work before the dance are (left to right) Mrs. Earl York,
Mrs. Nick DeWitt, Mr.' and Mrs. M'iles-and Mrs. Eugene Peterson. Mrs.
Miles and Mrs. York were general co-chairmen.
