Notice is given hereby that Hugh R.
Hill has filed an application for the
approval of a change in point of diver
sion of water from Evans Creek.
The supplemental findings of fact
and order of determination of the
State Engineer entered January 10,
1940 in the matter of the determina
tion of the relative rights of the var
ious claima.its to the use of the waters
of Rogue River and its tributaries, de
termined the extent to which the in
choate water rights were completed in
the Rogue River adjudication pro
ceedings. In said findings the State
Engineer found that Bud Oden had
reclaimed and irrigated a 2 acre tract
in the northeast part of Lot 11 within
the NE',4SW!i. Sec. 15. T. 35 S., R.
4 W., W.M., and Paul S. Seeley had re
claimed and irrigated 17.9 acres in Lot
11, of which 6.5 acres are in the NE'i
SWVi and 11.4 acres are in NW14
SW!4. All of these lands are irrigated
thu the Vroman ditch from Evans
Creek with a date of priority of 1902.
The point of diversion of the Vroman
ditch is located 1200 ft. N. an! 100 ft.
W. from the E',4 corner of Sec. 11,
and being within SE',i NE!i, said Sec.
11, T. 35 S., R. 4 W-, W.M.
Hugh R. Hill, owner of the 2 acre
Oden tract in Lot 11 and 13.6 acres
of the Seeley tract in said Lot 11,
of which 6.5 acres are in NE'iSWH
and 7.1 acres in NW'iSW1,, Sec. 15,
T. 35 S., R. 4 W., W. M., proposes
to irrigate said land by means of a
portable pumping unit on Evans Creek
between a point to be located 360 S.
and 1320 ft. W. from NE corner of
NEiiSW',4. Sec. 15, being within NEV4
SW'.i, said Sec. 15, T. 35 S., R. 4 W.,
W.M., and a point 460 ft. downstream
therefrom.
All persons interested are notified
hereby that a hearing will be held
at the county court house at Medford,
Ovs., on March 27, 1956, beginning
at 10:00 a.m. All objections to the
proposed change, if any there are,
will be heard at said time and place.
Any objections shall be prepared in
writing, one copy to be served on
Hugh R. Hill. Rt. 1, Box 58, Rogue
River, Ore., and one copy to be mailed
to the State Engineer, Salem. Ore
together with a $2 filing fee. at
least 10 days prior to the date set for
hearing. If no objections are filed, the
application may be approved by the
State Engineer without a hearing.

week at the Sheraton Park Hotel
