people, became so liked and
trusted by them that her life
turned out to be happy, with
her position assured for the rest
of her days.
A while ago, Mrs. Ann Carroll
Herman, of Forest Hills, New
York, wrote me saying how
pleased she was with the thought
that a home can be a place
where love is made visible. As
she said, the monthly journals
are full of articles on the deco
ration of a home, on better cook
ing, and on how to do this and
that, but few writers have point
ed out that one of the greatest
things that? a woman can do in
her home is to make her love
visible to her husband and her
children.
