German Wine Label
Loses Pants Again
Korev, Germany (U.R)
Germany's most famous Moselle
wine can once again be exported
to the United States with uncen
sored labels.
The JCroever Nacktarsch wine
is famous almost as much for the
label as for its flavor. The label
shows a farmer spanking the
bare backsides of two little boys
who sneaked into his cellar to
sample the wine.
Last year, U. S. customs of
ficials said the backsides must
be covered. A smudge a blue
paint covered the bare backsides
thereafter.
Today the wine producers
learned the American authorit
ies have had a change of heart
so off come the pants again.
If you must substitute general
purpose flour for cake flour,
here is a guide: sift three times
and measure out 2 tablespoons
to each cup measure.
