Clatskanie (UP.; Robert
Jamc Wiester, 46, was killed
early Tuesday when his car
plunged over an embankment
two miles east of here.
Wiester's wife, Julia, was rush
ed to a Longview, Wash., hos
pital where she was reported in
critical condition. The two were
returning from Everett. Wash.,
where they had spent the holi
days with Wister"s mother.
The victim was owner of the

of special services. With a group
representing 24 organizations
participating, individual repre
sentatives were given . various
ward assignments at an indoc
trination meeting beginning at
6 p.m. Glonning introduced Man
ager E. K. Ricker who expressed
thanks' and appreciation of him
self and the VA staff for efforts
toward making Christmas a
pleasant one for members.

Medford.
