Business girls, especially sec
retaries, are the best matrimon

difficult to ascertain. A secre
tary generally works for a man.
It is up to her. to pleaee that
man. In her effort to do so, she
learns things about pleasing
men that are highly advantag
eous when she becomes a wife.
So, if yju want your daughter
to become a successful wife,
have her study stenography be

some training in how to please
a man.
Briefly
About 60 per cent of the wo

However, only 11 per cent are
natural blondes. So, if your wife
is a natural blonde, you have
something unusual, i hope you
appreciate her . . . Thert is some
confusion as to the origin of the
name of the town of T.B., Mary

Thomas Brooks who was called
"T.B." by his neighbors.

New Ygrk Drivers Dodge 1
Convictions by Forfeit
Albany, N.Y.- (U.R) The New
York State Motor Vehicles Bu
reau has found that "an amaz
ingly high" number of drivers
are avoiding traffic convictions
by forfeiting bail.--
A statewide bureau survey has
revealed that upwards of 25 per
cent of all tickets for speeding
and other such offenses wind up
as bail forfeitures'.
The bureau wants legislation
to plug this loophole because it
allows bail-jumpers, to get around
the statute that provides for au
tomatic revocation of a driver's
license if he has three speeding
convictions in 18 months. Under
the proposed law, forfeiture of
bail would amount to about the
same thing as conviction so far
as license csuspensions and re
vocations are concerned.
