144 appeared on the Uncle Bill
TV Show Nov. 16. The girls, led
by Phyliss Elzza, sang a song
"Six Little Ducks." Mrs. William
Frederick and Mrs. Paul Garren
accompanied the girls, Anne
Donahue, Phyliss Elzza, Linda
Jo Frederick, Cheryl Garren,
Cindy Lance, Jerry Loper, Bette
Meyers, Michele Kiehaus, Trudy
Poling, Connie Rogers, Tanis
Rose and Melinda Wray.
At a previous meeting, the
Brownie troop made a trip to
the Medford Public library
where the girls visited each de
partment' and saw the murals
painted by Miss Maccine Titus.
The girls were issued library
cards and each borrowed a li
brary book to take home.

To Observe 85th Birthday

sisters who claim to be Oregon's
oldest living twins will cele
brate their 85th birthday anni
versary tomorrow.
They are Mrs. Hester Ann
Saylor and Mrs. Frances Jean
ette Ross. They were born at
Gladstone, 111., in 1870. They
arrived in Oregon by immigrant
train in 1873.
