We Be He
IN SIN! We do not believe in sinning, but we
do believe the Bible testimony that "all have,
sinned." We believe the Bible teaching that
sin has brought spiritual death to every per
. son. "as by one man sin entered the 'world,
and -death by sin; and so death passed upon
all men, for that all have sinned."
We believe the declaration of the Bible that
not only are all spiritually dead in sin, "alien
ated from the life of God,":but that because
of sin all ara the judgment and wrath of-:
a holy God. "The wrath of God is revealed
from heaven against all ungodliness and
unrighteousness of men." "There is none right
eous." Though modern men may scoff, we
believe the Bible teaching about hell as well
as about heaven. We have no doubt God
knows what He is talking about..
We believe that on the Cross Jesus' Christ,
God's Son, "bore our sins in His own body."
"As it is appointed unto men once to die,'
. but. after this the judgment, so Christ was
once offered to bear the, sins of many." We
believe that only by receiving this crucified
and risen Jesus as one's own lord and savior
may any one have forgiveness of sins and
the gift of eternal life. "He that hoth the Son
hath life, and he that hath not the Son of e
God hath not life." "In Him we have redemp
tion through His blood, even the forgiveness
of sins." '
