Plans Talks for
Pilgrim Holiness
The Rev. William S. Deal will
be the speaker at services to be j
held in the Pilgrim Holiness j
church, corner of Pine at Sixth
St., Central Point, Friday and
Saturday, Oct. 14-16, at 7:30 p.m.
and Sunday at 11 a.m.
The Rev. Mr. Deal, who is
(Superintendent of the Pacific
Northwest district of the Pilgrim
Holiness church, is making his
quarterly visits to the Pilgrim
churches of the area. He is well
known for his evangelism and
writing. He is the author of many
becks being sold in religious
book stores today.
On Sunday at 7:30 p.m. the
Rev. Mr.' Deal will speak at the
Medf ord Pilgrim Holiness church
corner of Jackson at Bessie st

Alton F. Baker, Eugene, gov
ernor of District 154, Rotary In
ternational, will visit the Med
ford Rotary club on Oct. 17 and
18, it was announced today by
Joe Naumes, president of the
local club. "
Baker is publisher of the Eu
gene Register-Guard and has
been a jmember of the Eugene
Rotary club since 1927.
While in Medford, Baker will
conduct a Rotary club assembly
composed of directors and chair
men of all committees of the lo
cal club. During the assembly,
the entire work of the Rotary
club will be reviewed.
District 154 of Rotary Interna
tional includes the state of Ore
gon and several counties in south
west Washington. The district
has 51 clubs with a total mem
bership of 3,347. 1 .
