I've heard city folk complain

Apartment With View
I rented this lovely old apart
ment "with a view" eight days
ago during which time four dif
ferent men who introduced them
selves as "plumbers" have come
to look at the drain that won't
drain in- the bathtub-ssh! It's
working today.
Another rnan who called him-
bell which, when pressed,
wouldn't stop ringing. He fixed
it, because today it doesn't ring
at all.
Tomorrow, which can mean
next week, he is returning to
coax the ' ice box into making
ice, or perhaps just to look at
it. I know it's vulgar to brag
but if you possess a "frigidaire"
you are looked upon as one of
screaming the loudest when an
