At Church

Miss Edna Roberta Hicks and
Robert LeRoy Larson were
(wedded July 24 at 2 o'clock in
the afternoon at the First Meth
odist church.' The Rev. Raymond
E. Balcomb performed the cere
mony,
The "bride, an employee of
Medford Flower shop, is a daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. George M.
Ricks of Springfield. The bride
groom s parents are Mr. and
Mrs. Paul E. Larson, 3290 Jack
sonville highway. He is em
ployed at the Verl G. Walker
Radio Engineering and Supply
company,
Mr. Ricks gave his daughter
la marriage. Her gown was de
signed with lace bodice and a full
net skirt over taffeta, ballerina
length, and her fingertip veil

grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Rombs furnishing the
Q number. They are Londa, Larry
and Jimmy- Mozak, and Laurie
Butts, Redwood City, Calif.

mittee chairman has been set for
Tuesday, August 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Charles- Lenderman, cap
tain o) the ladies drill team
asks that all members of the
team be present for practice.
A business meeting will be
held Thursday, August 18, at
8 p.m. and on Saturday, August
20 a birthday dinner will honor
women whose birthdays fall in
July and August. It is set for
6:30 p.m. and those attending
are to take either a vegetable
dish or salad.

To Jerry Neitzel
News of the wedding August
10 of Miss Judith Paralee Cole
and Jerry Lee Neitzel at Napa,
Calif., has been received here.
She is a daughter of Mrs. Myrtle
M. Collins, 315 Boardman street,
and the bridegroom is a son of
John Neitzel, Table Rock road.
They are living at Napa.
The Rev. Mr. Fox, a Baptist
minister, read the double ring
rites at 9 o'clock in the evening.
Mrs. Richard M. Lira, a sister
of the bride was the honor at
tendant and Joe Stitt, Vallejo,
Calif., a brother of the bride
groom, was best man.
The bride's dress was an
afternoon frock of ice blue shade
and her flowers were gardenias.
Women of Moose
Hold Initiation;
Secretary Talks
Mrs. David Haggard, Mrs.
Jerry Bianconi and Mrs. Delia
Meyer were accepted into the
Women of the Moose at an in
itiation held August 10.
Mrs. Clarence Pfnister, chair
man of the Mooseheart Alumni
committee which was in charge
of the program, introduced the
speakers for the evening.
John Keener, secretary of the
Loyal Order of Moose and vice
president of the Third district
of the Oregon Moose association,
spoke to the chapter about the
Moose lodge and its auxiliary
and answered questions on the
function of the lodge.
Mrs. John Norvell, college of
regents, spoke on her trip to
Mooseheart last year to receive
her college of regents degree.
She described some of the most
ineresting points of Mooseheart,
the child city which was founded
and is supported by the Loyal
Order of Moose and the Women
of the Moose.
Also present at the meeting
were visitors from the Grants
Pass chapter.

Two Return Home
From Wenatchee
Mrs. Bernice Kunzman and
her mother, Mrs. Cora Carder,
607 West Eighth street, have re
turned from a vacation trip to
Wenatchee, Wash., where they
were guests of Mrs. Carder's
daughter, Mrs. L. J. Hanchett,
and Mr. Hanchett.
Friday Dr. and Mrs. Ewayne
Gulbrandson and Dr. Guldbrand-
son's two daughters, Karen and
Kay, arrived in Medford from
California to visit Mrs. Kunz
man and Mrs. Carder. The Gul
brandsons will continue on to
Shelton, Wash., to fish in that
region, and the girls will remain
in Medford. They are Mrs. Kunz
man's granddaughters.
