Rombin, blonde Swedish beauty
chosen as Miss Universe last
month, plans to leave for her na
tive land today for a visit with
her fiance, 1st Lt. Nils Benker
of the Royal Swedish Air Force.
The beauty contest winner
caused a furor Tuesday when
she bought a one-way ticket to
Europe ' after completing a one
line role in a movie, but she
soon squelched her film work.
She explained she was not
needed by Universal - Interna

and had decided to go home to
Sweden for a visit, returning
here next month. The studio
said she would not appear in an
other picture immediately and
was free to visit Europe if. she
desired.
A little anchovy paste or mash
ed achovies mixed with sour
cream and mashed avocado
makes a most delicious dressing
for chunks of head lettuce. Add
a bit of wine vinegar to the dress
ing if you wish and be sure and
add salt and freshly ground black
pepper.
