Western Detective (Medford
Merchant Police) has made a re
port covering the year July 1.
1954 to July 1, 1955.
It checked an a vera so of 86
business buildings six times a
night, seven nights per week.
They entered and checked out
26 buildings four times a night
throughout the year.
Two hundred seventy-two
windows, 81 doors, 16 safes, and
2 vaults were found open. Twenty-one
night lights were found
off, and two fires discovered.
There were 52 armed escorts to
banks.
No break-ins or robberies oc
curred in any of the buildings
checked.
