interest in the property included and described in the foreclosure
list herein set forth, and being the Jackson County Delinquent Tax
Foreclosure List for the year 1955.
YOU ARE HEREBY REQUIRED TO TAKE NOTICE, that the
plaintiff herein has filed in the Circuit Court of the State of
Oregon, for Jackson County, an application for the foreclosure
of the lien of all taxes shown on the Jackson County Tax Fore
closure List for the year 1955, hereinafter set forth in full, and
that the plaintiff will apply to the court for judgment and decree
foreclosing such tax liens and cancelling all certificates of registra-
. tion where such property is under a registration of title certif icate,j
and for such other relief as may be just and equitaoie in the
premises, not less than 30 days from the date of the first publication
of this notice, exclusive of the day of the first publication, and
any and all persons interested in any of the real property included
in said foreclosure list are hereby required to file an answer and
defense, if any there be,- to such application for judgment and
decree within 30 days from tne date of tne first puoiication ot
this notice, exclusive of the day of the first publication, which
date is the 1st dav of July. 1955.

Court of the State of Oregon, for Jackson County, in the Medford
Mail Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation published in

the election on the proposed incor
poration of the Elk City Water Dist
rict and making the arrangements

May, 1955. final public hearing was
had. at which time' no persons came
forward to enter objections to the pro
posed incorporation and at which time
the court made certain findings - of
fact entered of record herein, and the
court being fully advised in the prem

of the proposed district to be incor
porated, as set forth in this order
hereinabove, be. and they are hereby,
approved and neither altered nor
modified; and
IT IS CONSIDERED AND 'OR
DERED that the necessary arrange
ments shall be made for the said elec
tion and that the County Clerk be
directed, and she is hereby directed,
to make the ' said arrangements for
the election and that she shall, fur
ther, certify the appointment of three
judges for the election, who are to be
electors of the district sought to be

the Forest Supervisor or his author
ized representative in Room 210. Post
Office Building, Medford, Oregon, be
ginning at 2:00 p.m.. August 1, 1955;
for all live timber marked or desig
nated for cutting, and all merchant
able dead timber located on an area
embracing about 154 acres within
Sections 1. 12. 13. & 24. T. 31 S.. R.
4 E.. W.M., in the Rogue River Na
tional Forest, Oregon, estimated to be
2.100 M board feet more or less of
Douglas-fir. 2,800 M board feet more
or less of Shasta red fir. 350 M board
feet more or less of white pine and
sugar pine, and 1.600 M board feet
more or less of white fir and other
species of sawiimber. No bid of less
than S18.45 per M board feet for
Douglas-fir.' $5.75 per M board' feet
for Shasta red fir. $34.75 per M board
feet for white pine and sugar pine,
and $3.85 per M board feet for -white
fir and other species wiU be consid
ered. In addition to the prices bid for
stumpage, a cooperative deposit of

quired. As a qualification for oral
bidding, each bidder must submit a
sealed bid accompanied by the re
quired payment to the Forest Super
visor prior to 2:00 p.m. August 1. 1955.
Sealed bids will be posted at the be
ginning of the auction for the infor
mation of all bidders. $10,000.00 must
accompany each bid. to be' applied on
the purchase price, refunded, or re
tained in part as liquidated damages,
according to the conditions of sale.
If an oral bid is declared to be high
at the closing of the auction, the bid
der must immediately confirm the
oral bid by submitting it in writing
on a Forest Service bid form. The
right to reject any and all bids is
reserved. Forest Service bid forms for

information concerning the timber,
the conditions of sale and the sub
