As We Live
Mother Sets Haart
On Large Wedding
When a mother has set her
heart on her only daughter s
having a large wedding, the
daughter should be willing to
give her mother the pleasure
the fulfillment of that wish
would give.

dresses can be simple. Summer
or early fall are ideal times for
simple but charming weddings.
Then, cut down on the number
of guests you invite to the recep
tion and serve only simple re
freshments. That is usually the
most expensive part of a wed
ding and the place where most
money can be spent or saved.
You could greet your guests in
the vestibule of the church, after
the ceremony is over, instead of
having a real reception.
Since you are an only child
and since your mother feels as
she does about your wedding, it
might readily mean a strained
