Leg Amputated Eric Kruger,

today. Kruger, a dairy farmer,

tractor rolled over on him. His
condition is reported as good.
Runaways Three teenagers
were picked up yesterday by

being held as runaways, accord

Returned Mrs. F. D. Mon
roe, 321 Howard st., returned
Tuesday from San Francisco
where she visited her son, Sgt.
John R. Monroe, of the Marine
corps, and his wife and their
infant daughter. The sergeant
and his family arrived Sunday
morning in San Francisco from
Honolulu where he had been
stationed. He has completed
more than two years of duty
overseas. He was a member of
the Marine drum ' and bugle
corps. His next station will be
in the states.

Askew Bigham, " 66, who died

The deceased was born -Feb.
24, 1889, in the, Sams Valley dis
trict. On Sept. 15, 1915, at
Table Rock, she was married to
J. W. (Bill) Bigham, who sur
vives. They resided in Sams
Valley until 1921, when they
moved to the Antelope district,
where they have resided since.
She has been a member of the
Church of Christ sine 1916.
Other survivors include two
daughters, Mrs. Cora Anderson
and Mrs. Clara Mae Schleigh,
Eagle Point; a sister, Mrs. May
Clark, Stockton, Calif.; a broth
er, Richard Askew, Sacramento,

pital Wednesday, will be held at

The deceased, son of Fredrick
and Emelyn Garman Dodge, was
born in Waterloo, la., on Feb.
12. 1902. He came to Medford in
1928 where he has operated a
stock ranch and become well
known for raising thoroughbred
riding horses. He was a member
of the Jackson County Sheriff's
Posse and the Medford Trail
Riders' association. He was mar
ried in Medford in May of 1928
to Iris Deter, who survives.
Other survivors are his moth
er, Mrs. Emelyn Dodge, Los An
geles; and two brothers, Harold,
Walden, Colo., and Vernon,
Chino, Calif.
