Hunter Shoots Fourth
Deer From Same Stump
Grand Rapids, Mich (U.R)
Jackson Fleckenstein of Ionia
claims to have a "magic" hunt
ing stump. He shot his fourth
deer in four years while seated
on the same stump.
Fleckenstein's friends have
suggested he sell tickets to his
"magic" stump in Osceola coun
ty during next year's deer
season.
But Fleckenstein's wife does
not need a bewitching stump.
She shot a 125-pound buck the
day before he did this year. And
her buck had eight points; her
husband's had only six.

The new superscenic wind
shield in combination with a
slim, gently tapering roof line
and increased glass area of all
windows lends a light look to the
upper body and concentrates its
mass low to the ground.
The superscenic windshield is
wrapped around at both top and
bottom with rearward sloping
side pillars conveying the feel
ing of forward motion. . Because
the pillars have been .moved
rearward visibility is increased
throughout the entire height of
the windshield. Windshield area
has been increased 20 per cent.
A road-hugging appearance head
on is created by the tumble-home
of the sides above the belt line
without sacrificing interior
space. Hip room, for example,
has been increased four inches in
the rear seat compartment.
A strong character line,
formed into the body, metal and
accented by chrome moldings,
runs straight along the side, of
the car and fairs into the rear
fender. New easy-opening and
tight-sealing door handles oper
ating on a push-pull principle are
smoothly faired into the doors.
The outboard location of tall,
fin-like taillights emphasizes the
car's width and sharply outlines
the rear fenders. Backup lights
are recessed within ovals at
either end of the floating bar
guard.
