of which was identical in every
instance, but the name of the
local town or village was in
serted in the blank space to
make the testimonial seem gen
uine.
: But you can't make a million
that way any more. The G men
will get you if you try it.
Even a bona fide testimonial
is hardly enough to bank on.
There's always the element of
human nature, which is difficult
to weigh either in person or by
mail.
This report from a New York
reader is not really a testimonial
but a statement of what I be
lieve should be better known to
doctors and folks:

erations did, they still do not
like girls to show off their
knowledge, and make theim feel

my class. I think he likes ma
too, but he is very shy and
doesn't show it. He is not a
very good student and hat
been having a lot of trouble
with his French. I like French
and always get good grades in
it. I would like to help this boy
with his lessons, but I am not
sure if I should offer to do so.
How do you think he would
feel about it?"

This might be the clue for him
to ask you to help him, and he
will offer, in turn, to help you
with the subject you are having
difficulties with. In that way,
you will -give him a chance to
feel superior to you in af least
one subject.
A boy who is shy has to be
handled with kid gloves. He re
treats into his shell verv ouicklv
if he suspects a person is super
ior to him. Give him a chance to
feel that he is brighter than-you.

4-H Follies Brings Funds for Exchanges

a total of $87.50 for the inter
national Farm Youth Exchange,

Klein, county agents for 4-H club
