giene) to give their children free
reign about this. Either they re
gard their children as idiots in
capable of knowing whether
they are comfortable or they go
along with the medical author
ities holdovers from the nine
teenth century who still im
agine simple everyday "expos
ure" to cold, dampness, draft,
change, etc., accounts for what
ever illnesses they are., unable
to diagnose accurately.
Every day I thank God for
blessings bestowed on. those I
love and ask for the wisdom
and patience I need to make doc
tors and folks understand the
difference between tonsillec
tomy and tonsillotomy.
Tonsillectomy means an at
tempt to remove every bit of
tonsil tissue from the throat. I
say the attempt because nine

Upon non-recognition, un

throat in the attempt to erad
icate it, as in tonsillectomy,

Perhaps the most convincing ev
idence that it is not malignant
or harmful in any way is the
everyday observation of odds
and ends of tonsil which re
main intact long after tonsillectomy.
