The latest issue of the West
German Tourist Association's in

The association said some of
the castles prepared to take pay

They are advertised as "tour

the association said that about
30 castles were available to the
tourist v seeking something dif
ferent. ;" . :..
Among them; is 750-year-old
Krop Castle in the Palatinate,
where prices range from 76 cents
a day for a room to $1.78 for
full board and lodging.
Higher up the titled scale; is
Jagsthausen Castle, the former
home of Goetz von Berlichingen,
the famous 16th century "knight
with the iron hand" immortal
ized by Goethe as the leader of
a peasants' revolt against feudal
princes. -No

Dee-lighted, I repUed. Give
me the name of one of the doc

to come to the city and have my

doctor cared to apply, so long
as it didn't, break the skin and
I had full control of my air

If any reputable physician found
any evidence that anything was
absorbed through my skin, I'd
make due apology to the medi

HERNIA OPERATION
The answer is that health, hy
giene, prevention of disease is
my province, and in my judg
ment a ; newspaper ; is not the
place to discuss medical subjects.
In the . textbook cited the au
thor : indicates just which types
of hernia . are amenable to in
jection treatment and which types
or kinds require operation.: . I
do ' not -remember and haven't
time to read the text again, to
determine whether Dr. Watson
estimates, what proportion of all
hernias .may - be - successfully
treated by. the injection, method.
But no one means , to .imply that
this office, ambulatory treatment
can or will make hernia opera
tions no longer necessary. -
And that reminds me please
excuse me for a moment while
I have a look at my pamphlet
on Hernia, ..which : is available
on .-. request if you provide

. . . This Is regrettable. I failed
to state clearly that the ambu
lant treatment is not applicable
to every case. i; ; V '
But what a boon it is when it
happens to be applicable to your
hernia! No . hospitalization. No
loss of time, from work. No particular-harm
done even if the
treatment fails to cure. It is as
likely to fail as is the radical
operation. ; '
One doctor advises surgery to
correct scrotal hernia in a child
2Vz years of age. A second doc
tor advises a suitable truss and
says there is a good chance of
spontaneous or natural cure ; if
the hernia can be retained, by
the truss.
' Most ; hernias in infants : and
young children , close, spontan
