ding anniversary observance of
Mr. and Mrs. Vance Wolgamott,
early day Jackson county cou
ple. The couple has lived for
about 15 years at Twin Rocks
on the coast The . observance
was held there Christmas day
at the home of Mrs. Wolgamott's
Mr. and Mrs. Wolgamott were'
married at a home which was on
Old Stage road, now the Mi
chael Beck property, and in suc
ceeding years the couple lived
in various parts of the valley.
Mr. Wolgamott was born near
Jacksonville. His parents had
"come here by wagon train in
1862 and they lived in Jackson
ville until their deaths many

' Mrs. Wolgamott is the former
Emma Oglesby, whose parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Oglesby
were pioneer -. settlers of - the
west. Her mother,, Mary Arm
strong Oglesby; was- brought to
Jacksonville in 1852 as. a child
of two years; Koscoe Oglesby
' arrived- first' at Cottage Grove
in 1853 at the age of 16. In later j
years he became one of the first

meeting Thursday at the home
of Mrs. Olaf Severson, 837 West
Second street.

Mrs. George Ware.
