Has Dad's" Night
Gold Hill The last meeting
of Gold Hill. Parent-Teacher as
sociation was 'Dads' Night" and
Fred Lester presided. Mrs. Park
er proposed that the PTA have
a spaghetti dinner before the
Sams Valley-Gold . Hill basket

Mrs. ' Barbara Toner's first
grade won the room counts
H. P. Jewett, superintendent
of District 6, talked on school
financing and the additional
class room space that will be
needed - in : the future at Gold
Hill and Central Point schools.

ing of Robert Sage, principal,
Dean Roberts, fifth grade teach
er, Roland Griffith, eighth grade
teacher and Charles Cook, music
teacher,' sang several numbers.

skin tests which were ' given by
Jackson County Health -department
at the school January 18.

three batches of cocoa, each with
a different kind of milk. The
scouts "decided they liked cocoa
made with whole milk best. This
was also a requirement of the

decorated three tables for buffet
type serving and one table for a
family style meal. The commit
