Theft The theft of about $9
in butane tank equipment was
reported yesterday at Ray's
Trailer sales. 1445 North River
side ave., according to city po
nce, a butane regulator for a
trailer house and dual "pigtails"
for a tank were missing.
B-B Shot Irene Pearl Neeley,
910 West Main st., reported to
city police yesterday that a B-B
shot struck her front- window.
Upon investigation, police found
a 14-year-old youth had shot at
a telephone pole in line with the
window, causing the damage.

Vagrants Glenn Bradford
Burnes, 44, Pendleton, and Von
da Jeanne Hies, 25, Naches,
Wash.', both pleaded guilty in
municipal court today to vagran
cy charges in Medford and were
sentenced to 10 days in the city
jail, according to city police

and has received the combat in
fantryman's badge, good conduct

Norman L. Thompson recently
arrived here from Rock Island,

is being remodeled and he ex
pects' to open the new business
about Jan. 20. The Thompsons
purchased a farm at Eagle Point
in 1950 after visiting relatives
here, and again visited in the

Mrs. Hearin was born in Fre
mont, Neb., on March 17, 1917.
On Feb. 25, 1945, she was mar
ried to Joe Hearin and the cou
ple, has made their home in Med
ford since that time.
She was active in the Jackson
County Public Health Associ
ation, was a leader of Brownie
Troop 78, Girl Scouts, active in
Roosevelt school PTA arid was
a member of Roosevelt Mother
Singers. She. attended the First
Methodist church and was a
member of Zuleima Temple,
Daughters of the Nile, where
she served as captain of the pa
trol for several years. '
Survivors,' besides her hus
band, include a "daughter, Joan
Lee, and her mother, - Mrs.
George I. Lundstedt, Glendale,
Calif.
