makes the boast that one of its
students can get room, board
and education for $798 a school

SIU officials gave this break
down of a student's annual ex
pense: tuition, fees, books and
activities $78; room and board
$376; miscellaneous, including
supplies, shows, dates and
snacks,' $144.
The university admits these
are dormitory rates, and all
dorms have been filled long be
fore a school year begins. But
it said almost the same rate
will be paid by students who
rent private rooms and eat In
the university cafeteria.

vated a fixed habit of riding

who have inherited or acquired
a silly notion which I think the
teen agers today have demol
ished that it is not ladylike and
refined to appear at work or play
in suitable attire . suffer con
stantly from oxygen deficit, slow
metaboMsm, shallow breathing,
torpid circulation. Many of them
complain of early morning head
ache which three or four in
halations of the bellows (belly)
will generally dispel before you
can -say the .Lord's prayer in
