" At least" three out-of-state

were operating .In Medford this
week, according to Don McNeil,
manager of the Jackson County
Chamber of Commerce. As far
as he knows, he said, there are
no local groups or organizations
sponsoring any current maga
zine sales campaign.
- McNeil said reports have come
to him that some of the itiner
ant magazine salesmen repre
sent themselves as Korean war
veterans, which may or may not
be true, but use the fact as an
? .opening wedge'V for discussion,
when it has no application to
the transaction they are seeking.

in the hands of the dairy asso
ciation's legislative committee,
