Dismissed David Doran, 23,
of 546 Haven st., who has been
hospitalized since Nov. 11 at
Community hospital because of
injuries suffered in an automo
bile-truck accident at West Mam
and Orange sts, was dismissed
Thursday from the hospital, at
tendants said today,
Accident Two vehicles were
involved in a collision at the in
tersection of West Main st. and
Oakdale ave. yesterday after
noon, according to city police
records. One driver, Don Lam
bert Jacobs, 602 Ross lane, was
cited for failure to stop at a red
light. The other driver was John
Allen Pyle, route 2, box 763,
Central Point, police said.
To Bend Charles Blackshear,
20, who had both legs amputated
as the result of an automobile
accident Nov. 5. on North Pacific
highway, will be dismissed from
the Community hospital and
will go to his home at Bend for
Christmas, according to hospital
attendants. He has been hospi
talized from time to time since
the accident. He was working
for the Oregon State Highway
commission on a truck when
the truck was hit by a car.

Theft Reported Irl Groves,

city police yesterday that a
large amount of clothing, hunt
ing equipment and tools" had
been stolen from the trunk of

st. A prybar was used to open
the trunk, police said.

mas Winters, an airman third
class in the Air Force stationed
at Lowry Air Force base, Den
ver, Colo., arrived home by
plane this week to spend the
holidays with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Winters, 15
Lindley ave. He is a 1954 gradu
ate of Medford High school
where he was active in sports.
He also is a former president of
the Medford Junior Rifle club,
and held the club championship
three years in a row.
