will be presented Monday, Dec.
20, at 7:45 p. m.
Entitled "The Birth of . The
King," the program will feature
eight scenes with musical back
ground by choruses, quartets,
and soloists in costume. One of
tne scenes, pictured, above, is
the Heavenly orchestra and the
Angel choir.

directed by Hazel Withrow and

be the theme of the message
at the Friends church, Sunday
at the 11 a. m. worship service.
This will be the second in a
Christmas series preached by the
pastor, Clynton Crisman. At
7:30 p. m. the congregation will
participate in a candlelight carol

, The Sunday school Christmas
program will be given Thursday,
Dec. 23, at 7:30 p. m. Children
of the beginners department will
open the program with songs
and recitations, followed by
those of the primary and junior
departments. The, intermediates
will portray, the nativity story
in a series of tableaux.
Three Act Play -
Main feature of the program
will be a three act play, "Carol
Finds Christmas," directed bv
uaroi uossard. The cast will in
clude Pat Leek as Carol,' Beverly
Nelson, Gary and'Lary Smith,
Kay Johnson, Mrs. Eunice Jones
and Judy Takahira, Donald
Ditch, Nadine Brood, Virginia
Walters, Judy Roberts, and Mr.
and Mrs. Guy Hays.
Treats for those of high school
age and younger will be given.

The men's Sunday school class
taught by Dr. Alvin Roberts
will have a Christmas party at
the church Tuesday, Dec. 21, at
8 p. m. and will sack treats for
the children at the Christmas
program.
