THE CITY OF MEDFORD DOTH
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Whereas the City of Med
ford did heretofore cause to be con-
structed and laid a water main with
in the City of Medford on Western
Avenue from West Main Street to
Sunset Avenue and the cost of said
water main has not been paid and the
council is ot the opinion that said
water main may be used by the prop
erty fronting on said streets wherein
said water main has been laid as a
lateral water main without materially
interferring with the use thereof for
me purpose lor wnicn it was originally
laid, ana;
Whereas the Council did, after said
water main was laid, declare by reso
lution, its intention to assess the
property fronting on said streets
within which said water main was
laid and which it proposed to permit
the owners of adjacent property to
use for lateral water main purposes
and did, in .said resolution, designate
the amount per front foot which it
proposed to assess against said adja
cent property, and;
WHEREAS said resolution was duly
posted and published as required bv
the Charter, and whereas a meeting
oi tne council was held at the time
and place fixed in said resolution for
the purpose of considering any pro
tests against said assessment, but no
protests were made at such time or
any time thereto and the Council hav
ing considered the matter and deem
ing that the use of said water main

authorized city of Medford Airport
Improvement Bonds, Series B. Said
