sessment on property benefited for
the cost of constructing concrete curbs
and gutters and asphaltie - concrete
pavement on West Third Street from
North Grape Street to North Fir
Street in the City of Medford. Ore
gon; and directing the Recorder to
enter a statement thereof in the
Docket of City Liens and publish a
notice thereof as required by . the
Charter. -
THE Cm- OF MEDFORD DOTH
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. WHEREAS, the City
Council did heretofore by Ordinance
declare its intention to construct con
crete curbs and gutters and asphaltie
concrete pavement on West Third
Street from North Grape Street to
North Fir Street In the City of Med
ford. Oregon; and to assess the cost
thereof upon each lot or part thereof
adjacent to and "benefited by such
improvement its proportionate share
of the cost of said improvement, and
did fix the time and place for hearing
protests against the construction of
said improvement, and the assessment
of the cost thereof, as aforesaid. And
WHEREAS said Ordinance was duly
posted and published as required by
the Charter of the City. And
WHEREAS a meeting of the Council
was held at the time and nlace fixed
in said Ordinance for the purpose
of considering any such protests, .but
no protests were at such time, or at
any time, made to. or received by
the Council to the construction of
said improvement, or the assessing of
the cost thereof, as aforesaid, and
said Council has considered the matter
and deeming that said construction of
said improvement was and is of ma
terial benefit to said City, and that
all the property to be assessed there
fore will be benefited thereby to the
extent of the probable amount of the
respective assessments to be levied
against said property, - did order the
construction of said improvement And
WHEREAS, the cost of said im
provement has been and hereby is
determined to be the sum of $3626.25,
NOW. THEREFORE, it is hereby de
termined that the proportionate share
of the cost of construction of said
improvement, on each parcel of prop
erty adjacent to said improvement
and benefited thereby is the amount
set opposite the description of each
piece or parcel of land below, and
that each piece or parcel of land is
benefited by the construction of said
improvement, to the full extent of
the amount so set opposite such piece
or parcel and that the respective
amounts represent the proportional
benefits of said improvement to said
respective parcels of property, and
the Council does hereby declare each
of the parcels of property described
below, and each of the same is hereby
assessed the amount set opposite each
respective description, for the cost
of the construction of said improve
ment. That a summary of assessment for
construction of concrete curbs and
gutters and asphaltie concrete pave
ment on West Third Street from North
Grape Street to North Fir Street in
the City of Medford, Oregon:

THE CITY OF MEDFORD DOTH
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. WHEREAS, the City
Council did heretofore by Ordinance
declare its intention to construct con
crete curbs and gutters and asphaltie
concrete pavement on West 13th
Street from South Peach Street to
South Newtown Street in the City of
Medford. Oregcn; and to assess the
cost thereof - upon each lot or part
thereof adjacent to and benefited by
such .improvement its proportionate
share of the cost of . said improve
ment, and did fix the time and place
for hearing protests against the con
struction of said improvement, and
the assessment of the cost thereof, as
aforesaid. And
WHEREAS said Ordinance was duly
posted and published as required by
the Charter of the City. And
WHEREAS a meeting of the Coun
cil was held at the time and place
fixed in said Ordinance for the pur
pose of considering any such . pro
tests, but no protests were at such
time, or at any time, made to, or re
ceived by the Council to the con
struction of said improvement, or the
assessing of the cost thereof, as afore
said, and said Council has considered
the matter and deeming that said con
struction of said improvement was
and is of material benefit to said City.
