That Hair Cut
"I question the claim that a
British hairdresser originated
the" poodle hair cut," writes F.
Fox. "Harpo Marx has been fea
turing that type of hair cut, in
wig form, for thirty years." I
am inclined to agree with Mr.
Fox on this point. Incidentally,
many women, featuring that
poodle hair cut, do look a lot
like Harpo Marx.

scriber, who says his wife was
present at this unusual blessed
event. This same subscriber says
a man in Saarbrucken had a ca
nary that lived to be 38. He also
says that he knows a woman in
Texas who is the mother of
twelve boys and twelve girls, all
living.

Medford Youth Elected
To Boys Sfafe Office
Charles Frost, Medford, has
been elected a county officer
during the Beaver Boys State
convention being held at ' Wil
lamette university, Salem. Frost
was elected sheriff of "Baxter
county."
Gov. Douglas McKay told the
boys about the government of
the State of Oregon. Other Boys
State activities were called off
because of rain, according to
Mail Tribune Correspondent
