Applcgate 4-H Dairy club held
a tour on June 14. Other live
stock clubs participated in the
tour, which started at Francis
Krouse's ranch.
Rufus Cate, county 4H club
agent, told us how to judge beef
and weigh the members' steers
there and at Gwen Krouses, An
ita Kubli's, and Charles Elmore's
homes.
We judged a class of shorthorn
heifers at Arion Christensen's
ranch.
Next stop on the tour was the
Glenn Smith ranch, where we
judged a class of Guernsey cows.
Refreshments were served by
Mrs. Glenn Smith.
