Grants Pass Trial of a man
charged with possession and
ownership ot illegal gambling
machines has concluded here
with a hung jury, according
to the Grants Pass Courier. A
new trial will be set later. '
Clifford G. Martin, the de
fendant, was on trial in the court
of Justice of the Peace J. R.
Mathews. The six person Jury
was deadlocked, three to three,
with no hope of a settlement
when the trial ended, .
