dreds of letters testifying to this
situation from readers in thirty
or more states, and upon a close
personal observation of practices
in one large Pacific Coast city.
Go to your school and you will
fii.d the physical education de
partment, often represented by
poorly-trained and health-indifferent
teachers, to be derelict In
the carrying forth of their re
sponsibilities, which is to teach
and train and improve the phys
ical skills, not of a few "natur
al" athletes, but of each and ev
ery boy entrusted to their care.
If you continue your analysis,
you may also infer that the fall-,
ure so to perform is a major con
tributing factor in the current
dellquency problem and in the
present state of immorality in
adult sports.
This letter from a teacher in
New Jersey is representative of
the majority:

ly, keeps its shape and resists
wrinkles. If the article needs to
be ironed, keep the heat low
at the rayon setting, or 27S de
grees F. Orion may yellow even
on short contact with high tem
peratures. Dacron (day'-kron) also washes
easily, dries quickly, and needs
little or no ironing. If pressing
seems necessary, do this while
some moisture still remains in
