Are you familiar with the
duties of a musical stenographer?
This is a highly specialized activ

Bob Merrill, a highly successful

write a note of music. He taps
out a tune on a toy xylophone
and a musical stenographer does
the rest. Among the popular

The most popular British
sport is horse racing. Whether
this is because of lnve nf hnreec
or a liking for the wagering op
portunities offered is open to
question. In any event 5,000,000
people in Britain are regularly
eating horsemeat, Two thousand
horses are killed weekly in Eng
land for this Durose. More are
imported from Ireland to be
slaughtered.

Horses at Women
The difficulties in acquiring a
husband in this country are
greatly exaggerated. Only 15 per
cent of women in the U.S.A. ho.
tween the ages of 25 and 34 are
unmarried. Of course, it cannot
be denied that the Hifflenltv in
acquiring the type of husband
most young women want is
great. The reason for that is that
me average young woman goes
in for self-improvement to a
much greater extent than the
average young man . Therefore
the men who come up to her
standards are in the minority. So
it happens that while the great
majority or women oi marrying
age are married many of them
are not satisfied with their hus
bands. Hpncp. thA rnnfHlu in.
