Donald R. MacMilan, Artie ex
plorer of Boston says he is going
to make another trip to the
North Pole even though he is

MacMillan said there are !

ed land in the Artie, "and some
of it may hold the key to the
world's past and to the future."
He made his first trip to the
North Pole with Admiral Rob
ert Perry in 1908-09. If he re
turns to the Artie late this year,
it will be his 29th exploration.

evidence that life began in the
Artie region while Die middle
sections of the globe were still
too hot to permit life of any
kind.

If the Kelleys leave a light
burning during lightning, the

"It sounds like xylophone mu
sic," Kelley said. "We don't
know what causes it."
An electrician said there's
nothing wrong with the wiring.
