to the City Charter of Gold Hill were
approved by the legal voters of the

authority given to the municipal cor
poration of the City of Gold Hill by

shall be elected at the regular biennial
election held In November, 1932. and
on each biennial election thereafter

elected three (3) councflmen to serve
a term of two years beginning January
1, 1953. and three (3) councilmen to
serve a term of four (4) years begin
ning January 1. 1993: at the biennial
election held In November 1954 and on

Section 8, Chapter III. The judges
and clerks of election shall be paid for
their services and the amount of such
compensation shall be determined by
the council and set forth In the resolu
tion of the council calling the election.
If any judge or clerk shall be absent at
the opening of the polls the vacancy
shall be filled hy the electors present.
Section 4. Chapter V. The recorder
shall perform the function of cltv
treasurer and be custodian of the
moneys and fundi of the city. He shall
receive and receipt for all moneys and
funds belonging to the city and shall
safely keep the same, paying out the
same on order of the mayor, or presi
dent of the council when acting as
mayor: all such orders shall be coun
tersigned by the recorder and attested
with the city's seal of which the re
corder is custodian.
