Post Office Building. Medford. Ore
eon, beginning at 2:00 D.m.. April 21.
1952, for all live timber marked or
designated for cutting, and all mer
chantable dead timber located on an
area embracing about 230 acres in
Section 21. T. 36 S., R. 3 E.. W.M..
lying about 18 miles southeast of
Butte Falls. Rogue River National For
est. Oregon, estimated to be: 2.180.000
feet B.M. more or less of Douglas-
fir; 1,280.000 feet B.M. more or less
of Shasta red fir; 825.000 feet B.M
more or less of sugar pine and west
ern white pine; 56,000 feet B.M. more
or less of incense cedar; and 4.120,000
feet B.M. more or less of white fir
and other species. No bid of less than
19.30 per M board feet for Douglas-
fir. 15.35 per M board feet for Shasta
red fir, $37.85 per M board feet for
sugar pine and western white pine,

timber under the terms of the
agreement, will be required. As a
qualification for oral bidding, all bid
ders must submit a sealed bid ac
companied by the required pay
ment to the Forest Supervisor prior
to z:uu p.m.. April zi. 1932. sealed
bids will be posted at the beeinnine
of the auction for the information of
all bidders. $10,000 00 must accomp
any each bid to be applied on the
purcnase price, refunded, or retained
in part as liquidated damages, ac
cording to the conditions of sale. If
an oral bid is declared high at the
closing of the auction, the bidder
must immediately confirm the oral
bid by submitting it in writing on a
Forest Service bid form. The right to
reject any and all bids is reserved, Be
