Baffling Problem
Figuring out the age of a fe
male by her -appearance is one
of the world's most baffling prob
lems. In England certain films
can only be viewed by those
over 16 years of age. There are
also age limits for admission to
theaters of children not accom
panied by adults. A London
newspaper discussing this situa
tion ran a photograph with the
caption: "How old is this girl?"
People guessed the girl was be
tween 18 and 21. She was 12
years old. All females should be
required to carry birth certifi
cates, just as automobile drivers
must carry driving licenses.
