Girl Scouts of Roosevelt school
fifth graders in Troop 13 held
the last meeting in the home of
their assistant leader, Mrs. F. L
Flink.
Their leader. Mrs. Robert
Bell, introduced Mrs. Eldon Jack
son who had just returned from
Mexico. She told the girls about
many interesting places and
showed pictures.
The girls enjoyed Mrs. Jack
son's talk very much, and she
showed them woven baskets, a
sombrero, a cactus, silver jew
elry, a large silver butterfly and
a Mexican shawl.

At their last meeting Troop
26 of second grade Brownies
from Roosevelt school hiked
from the school to the scout
house where they were shown
the workings of the scout office
and the various exhibits. Exhibits

from Tasmania which interested

Mrs. Clifton Friend's troop 75
of fifth and sixth grade Howard
school scouts hiked last Satur
day to day camp and spent the
day. The hike is a requirement
of the foot travelers' badge. They
enjoyed a sack lunch and made
their own dessert.

Jealousy is a hard emotion to
live with. You have had a taste
of it during your courtship. If
the strain of it has been too much
for you and has caused you to
break up three times, how could
you stand the day-in, day-out
strain?

if you are fond of him, in spite
of his jealousy and his distrust
