lia's "mystery man" has come
home at last.
Funeral services were held for
Wahlow Casteel, 84. after he was
found dead in Chicago, barely
100 miles from his home from
which he disappeared 31 years
ago.
Neighbors said Casteel came
home from World War I in 1019
and stayed with his parents a
few months, then disappeared.
He was never heard from again.
Casteel's father died in 1042
and his mother, who never gave
up hope that her son would re
turn, died seven years later.
His employer in Chicago said
Casteel had worked for him 19
years without missing a day's
work.
